The third annual Newton's Laws of Motion Sled-Off for fifth-grade students was held last Friday. The purpose of the sled-off was to see the laws of motion in action. Team U.S.A. won the competition by traveling 88 feet, 20 inches. Above, Evan Dahlquiest and Alexis Blankenship take some snow to the face as their sled hits a bump in the hill. Their team had a second-place finish of 86 feet. For more photos, pick up Wednesday's edition of The Journal or visit www.ifallsjournal.smugmug.com. ...
